Hockey Chat:  As hockey players we’ve seen that not every great play leads to a great goal.  And for goalie’s a near perfect save percentage for their team might still wind up as a loss for the night.  Efforts are not always reward in those moments of great plays but great players come back to give their best again and again knowing that they will win.

Life Lesson:  There are many ways that we can do great things for God through a Christian act of kindness.  The instant reaction to those actions may not be that great.  Maybe you felt an act of kindness was overlooked or maybe you tried sharing your faith and the other person balked at it.  Always remember that the purpose is not just for the moment and you may not immediately receive acclamation for your actions.  But know that your Heavenly Father sees your efforts and is proud of his child and in his time he will give you your great reward.
