Go to your local meat market and purchase a cow tongue (yes people eat them, usually boiled!) Keep the tongue frozen until the day you play, then thaw it out so it's fairly stiff when you start out. Play a game of football using Pass-Go a.k.a. Ultimate Frisbee rules and use the cow tongue instead of a frisbee or football. The longer you play, the less frozen the tongue, the more floppy the action. Kids will come out in droves just to see people throwing a cow's tongue to each other!
Follow the game with a devotion on the importance of "taming the tongue" from James 3:3-12.

Okay I'm a high school girl and this actually sounds hilarious. I think it would be funny but I don't know if I could touch a cow tongue. But I think that it's a great gaame
We had this at our April meeting. I had over 40 kids play the game. The final score was 75-72. It was competitive with boys/girls old/young all playing. Then we talked about the bible and what it says about the effects of using your words the wrong way. We had testimonies galore come out. It was a great night for our FCA and they cannot wait to do it again next year.

Are there any health concerns from this activity. i.e. blood from the cow tongue?
