Two friends are hanging out watching TV when the phone rings and God tells them He wants to stop by for a visit. They freak and begin cleaning the whole place. They dust off their Bibles, turn on Christian radio, etc. to get ready for the visit. During this time two visitors come at different times, needing something. The friends turn them away saying they are waiting on an important guest. To end, God calls them, and they ask where He is and He says He has been by two times. Quote Matthew 25:35-46.

    Characters:

Narrator (God’s voice), friend #1, friend #2, homeless person needing shelter, and person whose car broke down and needs to use the phone

    September 30, 2003 - 8:59am

This is a music skit. The characters say nothing, they just act out the song “Feel the Nails” by Ray Boltz or “Bright Eyes” by Kim Carnes. Have five or six people come out and line up with their backs to the crowd. Have two others come out with one person witnessing to the other. The person being witnessed to rejects the gospel. She then goes to the line of five or six people. One by one each person turns around and she gives them a hug. They each have a sign on their chest that says things like sex, drugs, pride, gossip, etc. They ALL form a circle with their hands and begin to walk around in a circle. The girl is soon thrown in and trapped by the sins. The one who witnessed to her tries to help, but fails.

Jesus is standing off to the side away from the sin (can be done to “Bright Eyes” by Kim Carnes). The girl comes on stage and is trying to choose which direction to go in (the sin or Jesus). After thinking briefly, she starts toward the sin. Her caring friend comes out to try and persuade her to go toward Jesus, but the girl ignores her.

She goes over to the sin and embraces them one by one. When she is finished, she goes back to the first sin and takes his hands and starts dancing in a circle. She is smiling, but the sin has no expression. Quickly, the second sin joins hands in the circle of dancing and then the third, fourth, and fifth.

That person asks, “Why should I?”. Satan gives reasons to come with him while Jesus combats Satan with the Word of God and reasons to follow Him.
