Key Verse: "Whatever you do, do well. For when you go to the grave, there will be no work or planning or knowledge or wisdom." -  Ecclesiastes 9:10

• Keyara had to overcome knee surgery, the death of her parents, and brother.  How would you handle all of these things if they had happened to you?

• Keyara had great friends surround her with prayers.  Why are positive friends so important during trials and tough times in life?

• During her senior year, Keyara had to pass several test to graduate.  The science test was tough for her.  Finally, she passed it.  After many failed attempts she never gave up.  Can you relate to that part of her story?  What situation in your life do you need to persevere through today?

• Read Ecclesiastes 9:10.  How does this verse relate to never giving up and overcoming adversities in life?  

• Read 1 Corinthians 10:13. Why is it so important to lean on God and His word during trials and adversities?

• What encouragement can you take from Keyara’s story and life?  How can it motivate you in your athletic, academic, or spiritual journey?

• Pray today that no matter what happens in life, you can overcome anything with God.
