Brief Bio: 

 Brad Tippins was born and raised in Claxton, Georgia.  He graduated from the University of Georgia with a BS in Physics in 1982.  He served in the United States Navy and completed his 13 years of active duty time and 8 years in the reserves here at Kings Bay. During his Navy service he also obtained his Master of Business Administration degree from Georgia College.  He retired as a Commander from U.S. Navy Reserves.

He has taught and coached at St. Marys Middle school and has been part of the Wildcats football program for the past fifteen years.  He has served as a Fellowship of Christian Athletes huddle coach since 1997 and is now a part-time Area Representative for FCA.  His responsibilities include overseeing all FCA activities in Camden and Charlton counties.

His wife is the former Suzanne Strickland who is also from Claxton.  They have three boys, Alex freshman at GA Tech, Scott and Nathan, who are in 10th and 8th grades respectively.  They are active members of Kingsland First United Methodist Church
