The FOUR: Will You Trust Jesus?

Ready

"If you openly declare that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is by believing in your heart that you are made right with God, and it is by openly declaring your faith that you are saved." -- Romans 10:9-10

Set

God has already done everything to show you how much He loves you. He offers you fulfillment and eternal life through a relationship with Jesus Christ. This involves agreeing that you are sinful, accepting God’s forgiveness and turning away from your sins and toward God.

You choose to trust Jesus when you believe and confess that Jesus is Lord and surrender your life to Him. Are you ready to place your trust in Jesus?

When you commit to a team, you are prepared to go all in with your role as an athlete. When you fully commit to Jesus, you are committing to following Him and His plans through the wins and the losses and the highs and the lows. You choose to trust Jesus when you believe and confess that Jesus is Lord and Savior and surrender your life to Him.

You can place your trust in Jesus by faith through prayer. Prayer is talking with God. God knows your heart and is not concerned with your words as much as He is with the attitude of your heart. Are you ready to place your trust in Jesus? Here's a suggested prayer:

“Dear God, thank You for loving me and wanting the best for my life. I have lived my life for myself and done things my way, and I am truly sorry.

Jesus, I believe that You are God and have forgiven all my sins by dying and coming back to life again for me. I trust You and ask You to be Lord of my life. I surrender my life to You. You are my God, my Savior and my Lord. Let me experience Your love and Your good plans for my life! Amen.”
