One Way

How many different ways can you get to FCA Camp? Planes, trains, automobiles. Those are just a few, but they come from all directions to make it on time. Once they arrive, the games begin and the coaches find each athlete has a different way of playing their sport. Each technique is similar but has its own unique way of getting things done.

These campers come to camp thinking that there are many ways to live their lives, as well. Do this, or do that. Try this, or try that. My way is best, or his/her way is best. Wow. What should they believe? Our theme verse for camp gives us the answer. "Jesus answered, 'I am the way…" Though people may tell us their way is best, Jesus showed us that HIS way was the only way we should live. If we desire to reach our heavenly goal, finding His way is the one and only way we need to go.

Campers will leave camp this week learning different ways to play their sport, but will also leave knowing that there is only one way to Heaven. That way is through Highway JC … Jesus Christ. Do you know the way?
